Congratulations Dr. Klym & Lori! In October 2011, Brian and Lori were married in Leland, Michigan. They traveled to Amsterdam and Belgium for their honeymoon.

A serious as well as successful mountain biker, Dr. Klym tears up the Crybaby Classic on October 1, 2011.

As a Hagerty Racing Team member, he took 1st Place in the Sport 40-49 Division.

Brian raced in the 22nd, and most recent Iceman Cometh Challenge on November 5, and he finished 5th in his age division.

In 2010 Dr. Klym took 1st Place in the Men’s 40+ Clydesdales Class. He also sponsored the Cherry-Roubaix Road Race.

— Cherry-Roubaix, presented by Garan Lucow Miller, PC, invites friends and family to demonstrate like-minded inspiration by raising $10,000 for cancer survivors through participation in this summer biking event on Saturday, August 13.

The 4th Annual Cherry-Roubaix that delivers the State Road Race Championship race as part of their three day event on August 14, 2011 (in conjunction with the Michigan Bike Race Association and USA Cycling) also hosts a choice of either a 20 or 43-mile Charity Ride on August 13 to benefit Munson Healthcare Women‟s Cancer Fund.

Our Northwood Dental office in Traverse City is excited to be supporting and sponsoring this exciting cycling event as a Team Level sponsor. Dr. Brian Klym will also be racing on Sunday, August 14 as part of the Hagerty Cycling Team as a Cap 4 Racer.

Celebration was the theme of the day for Traverse City dentist Brian Klym after the Iceman Cometh Challenge November 6, 2010. An annual event, the 'Challenge' Mountain Bike Race starts in Kalkaska Michigan and ends in Traverse City.

Dr. Klym finished 1st in his division/class and everyone at the event celebrated Gary Fisher's 60th birthday (photo below). Fisher the God Father of Mountain Biking and designer of Trek Bikes was the main sponsor for the event.

Northwood Dental sponsored Olympia Sanchez, an eighth grader from Traverse City, as she competed in the 2010 Grand Rapids Pageant, in Cooperstown, Michigan on May 15.

Healthy smiles were flashing in the summer sun as well as dashing by on June 26th, when Northwood Dental hygienist Jessica Mason and dentist Dr. Brian Klym joined over 110 athletes in the East Jordan Triathlon in East Jordan, Michigan.

The triathlon consisted of a 1/3-mile swim, a 20-mile bike, and a 3-mile run. Both Dr. Klym and Jessica made us proud, with Jessica finishing in 58th place overall and Dr. Klym placing in 4th overall.
